Robert Leonard Keach, son of Albert Ray Keach and Aileen Collier Keach, was born on December 6, 1929 in Peoria, Ill., and passed away on July 9, 2005, in his home at the age of 75.
Robert was a resident of the Squires and Girdner community for over 20 years. He was a retired steel worker from McClouth Steel Corp. in Trenton, Mich., and was an Army veteran, having served his country in the Korean Conflict.
On June 11, 1955, Robert and Dolores Renner were united in marriage in Flat Rock, Mich.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Jeffery Earl.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores, of the home in Squires; one son, Brian Ray Keach and wife, Janet, Trenton, Mich.; one daughter, Loredda “Lori” Sue Keach-Groth and husband, Larry, Neodesha, Kan.; one grandson, David; two sisters, Carol Ann Prince, Garden City, Mich., and Lois Jean Pachey, New Boston, Mich.; his mother-in-law, Hazel Renner, Ava; and other relatives and friends.
Memorial service was held Tuesday, July 12, at 2 p.m., at the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, with Charles Hannaford officiating.
Services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
