Erma Siler, daughter of Will Davidson and Ethel (Smith) Davidson was born April 18, 1915 in McClurg, and departed this life July 11, 2005, at the age of 90.
Erma was a life long resident of Brown Branch.
On Sept. 25, 1937 Erma and Orville H. Siler were united in marriage at Ava. Erma was a housewife and worked on the farm and milked with her husband, Orville. She was a member of the Caney General Baptist Church at Brown Branch. Erma loved gardening, growing flowers, her church, family and friends.
Erma was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Archie and Victor Davidson, one sister, Opal (Davidson) Potter and her husband, Orville H. Siler.
Erma is survived by six nieces, three nephews, several great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. today (Thursday, July 14), in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Bill Austin officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 10 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Cemetery.
