Memorial services for Conrad I. Tennison, 70, of Sedalia, were held Wednesday, June 8, at the Hicks Cemetery in Theodosia, officiated by family and friends.
Mr. Tennison died June 2, 2005, at his home. He was born July 20, 1934, in Lutie, the son of Benjamin Ellis and Ethyl June (Lawrence) Tennison.
He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1953, and then served 10 years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Granite Lodge No. 272 and a past member of the Abou Ben Adhem Temple in Springfield.
He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly spending time on his farm in Ozark County since retiring in 1997. His constant companion was his dog, Debo.
Mr. Tennison is survived by his wife, Sandra (Johnson) Tennison; one daughter, Teresa Emery and her husband, Richard, of Missoula, Mont.; two sons, Jeff Tennison and his wife, Anne, of Raymore and Ted Tennison and his wife, Lisa, of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Brad Tennison and Sarah Tennison of Raymore and Megan Emery of Missoula, Mont.; and a large circle of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials can be made to the Hospice Memorial Garden of Sedalia or the Mid-Missouri Humane Society.
