Eva Barbara Kinney, 97, Ava, passed away at 5:40 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005, in Glenwood Health Care Center, Seymour. She was born June 26, 1907, in Ogdensburg, Wisc., to Charley and Minnie (Frank) Jasman.
On May 8, 1936, she married Myron Nathaniel Kinney in Los Angeles, Calif.
Eva was a caring and sensitive woman who devoted her life to caring for her family. She loved gardening, enjoyed planting flowers, and cooking meals for family and friends. She attended the Sandy Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Myron Kinney, a son, Wilfred Allen Kinney, two brothers and two sisters.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Case and husband, Bill, of Ava; daughter-in-law Diane Kinney, also of Ava; sister Esther Prill, of Manawa Wisc.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other loving family.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Frances Humbyrd officiating. Burial followed in the Ava Cemetery.
