Hazel B. Erdahl, 80, of Rochelle, Ill., passed away on Friday, April 1, 2005, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Ill.
She was born on June 19, 1924, in Ava, the daughter of Benjamin and Ollie Lee Dougherty.
Hazel married Oscar B. Erdahl on May 19, 1945, in Hugo, Okla.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harold W. Erdahl, on June 22, 1993, and a granddaughter, Kami Erdahl.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar, of Rochelle; two sons, Quentin (Jeri) Erdahl and Douglas (Amy) Erdahl, all of Rochelle, Ill.; a daughter, Nancy (Doug) Enke, of Cherry Valley, Ill.; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Cory and Katelyn Brassfield; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 5, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
