Donald Lawrence Grimes, 20, of Mansfield, died March 30, 2005, in Ava from injuries received in an automobile accident. Donald was born Nov. 26, 1984, in Lebanon, to Mary Candler.
“D”, as he was known, had lived the last 10 years in Grovespring and the Mansfield area, as well as attending the Mansfield Schools.
He was a member of the Mansfield Christian Church and loved herpetology, where he studied and collected reptiles with his two best friends, David and Terry.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Candler.
He is survived by his parents, Mary and Bobby Hash, of Mansfield; one brother, William Hash; and two sisters, Rachel Hash and Josie Dunham, all of Mansfield; maternal grandmother, Audrey Candler, of Lebanon; and his two best friends, David Hall and Terry Candler.
Services were held Sunday, April 3, in Holman-Howe Chapel in Lebanon.
