Patricia G. Lewis, 69

Patricia “Pat” Geneva Lewis, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away with God and her family at her side on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 after suffering and valiantly fighting esonophilla leukemia for the past six years. She remained gracious and positive and never lost her ability to enjoy her family and friends and find good cheer at every opportunity. Her hope and salvation was in Christ.

On June 10, 1935, Pat was born in Bemidji, Minn., to Paul E. and Jenny L. (Andrys) Osborne, shortly after her birth her parents moved her family to National City, Calif. In 1951, she met and married the love of her life Dave Lewis and to this union three children were born.

Pat worked in numerous retail fields including JCPenney, Mont-gomery Ward, El Toro Marine Base, and Disneyland. In 1968, she and Dave moved to Ava, and she began working for the Ava Drug Company and always referred to her position as the best job she ever held. Later, she and Dave decided to open a small grocery store on their farm near Sweden, Mo. In 1978, she and Dave moved to Ozark, and established a real estate title and closing company.

Pat attended Calvary Baptist Church of Ozark and was involved in church activities. She touched many lives in a positive way and will be remembered for the way she invested her life in others.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Paul Osborne and her infant son, David.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dave Lewis; her son Paul Lewis of Ozark; her daughter Teresa Bruns and husband Randy of Nixa; her mother Jenny L. Osborne of Ozark; her sister Jeanette Pidgeon of Prescott, Ariz.; other relatives, several caring friends, and good neighbors.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 19, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Dale Brown officiating. Visitation was from 3 p.m. until service time.
