Harold L. Sherrill, 74, died Dec. 11, 2004, at Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore, Kans.
He was born Feb. 26, 1930, at Wasola, the son of John and Ruth Abel Sherrill. A Jetmore resident, he was a business owner and manager of Liquid Carbonics.
He belonged to First Baptist Church and Hodgeman County Historical Society, both at Jetmore.
On April 11, 1959, he married Ellen Ward at Denton, Texas. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Fred Gillespie, Ava, and Kevin Sherrill, Jetmore; three daughters, Mary Ellen Schinstock, Great Bend, Debbie Peterson, Woodland Park, Colo., and Jacque Sherrill, Jetmore, Kans.; two brothers, Larry, Windsor, Mo., and Wayne, Vacaville, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Leon; and a brother, Harlan.
Funeral was at First Baptist Church, Jetmore, Kans., with the Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, Kans.
