Jonnie Allen Fletcher 95, Republic, passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in Christian Health Care-Republic.
Jonnie was born on Sept. 3, 1909, to the late Thomas J. and Ellen J. (Daniels) Allen in Hammond, Mo. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, and sewing. Jonnie enjoyed working in her yard and had the great ability to grow beautiful roses.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Billy and Ernest Bartlett, and daughter, Audrey Schatz.
Survivors include grandchildren, Terri O’Reilly and husband, Scott, of Brookline Station, Lisa Sobecki and husband, Edward, of Toledo, Ohio, Becky Roberts, of Republic, Debbie Schatz, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Vickie Carlstrom and husband, Jim, of Springfield; great-grandchildren, Laurel and Emily O’Reilly, Jacob and Zane Sobecki, Mitchell Roberts and Chandler Carlstrom; and one brother, Dr. Rufus Allen, of Dallas, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today (Thursday) in the chapel \of Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service at Rivermonte with the Rev. Gary Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 9 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jonnie’s name to Christian Health Care Hospice, Republic.
