Philip S. Huffman, 61, of Hartville, died early Tuesday morning in Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 14, in the Hartville Freewill Baptist Church under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Steele Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry, of the home; a daughter, Hilary Sommer and husband, Lyndon, of St. Louis; a son, Grierson Huffman and wife, Bettrys, of Centreville, Va.; his mother, Lylian Huffman, Hartville; a sister, Marilyn Huffman, Springfield; and a number of cousins and many friends.
The family requests memorial contributions be left at the funeral home for Legal Aid of Southwest Missouri; Wright County Children’s Home; United Methodist Church of Hartville; or Wright County Historical Society.
