Nora Alice Marsh, the daughter of Harbor Russel Gladden and Dillia Sallee Gladden, was born Jan. 18, 1917, in Longrun, Mo., and departed this life Jan. 8, 2005, at the age of 87. Nora and Thomas Marsh were united in marriage April 18, 1940, in Lutie, Mo., and to this union a son was born. Nora was a homemaker and loved quilting. She was a member of the Longrun General Baptist Church.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ressie Gladden and Ruby Smith.
Her survivors include her husband, Thomas Marsh, and her son, Ron Marsh, both of Ava.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Ava Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Interment was under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
