Glenda Jewell Snelson Brown Griffin, daughter of Oda Snelson and Tishie Dye Snelson, was born on Feb. 23, 1913, in Almartha, and went home to be with her Lord on June 6, 2004, in Springfield, at the age of 91. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at the West & Lincoln Street Church of Christ, Springfield, with Ron Griffin, Joe Griffin and Darrell Riley officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Interment will be at 3 p.m. in the Ava Cemetery. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
