Mrs. Perna T. Hailey died May 12, 2004 at Plains Regional Medical Center, Clovis, N.M., at the age of 84. She was born Aug. 12, 1919, in Romance, to Logan and Mae Burch Naugle. She married Robert T. Hailey Aug. 8, 1939 in Ava. She had been a resident of Clovis, N.M., since 1995, moving from Lubbock, Texas.
She had been a longtime resident of the Tulsa area. She and her husband owned the Daylight Donut Shops in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, Okla. She was a member of the 16th and Pile Church of Christ in Clovis, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Ben; and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Hailey (Carol Kay) of Clovis, N.M., and Harold Hailey (Margaret) of Vancouver, Wash.; one daughter, Nova Sue Adkison of Cushing, Okla.; one sister, Wilma Fish, of Gainesville; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 17, at 16th and Pile Church of Christ, Clovis, N.M., with Jim Gammon officiating. Burial was at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Okla., under direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
